Last updated: May 27, 2026

This Privacy Notice explains how RidgeOS ("RidgeOS", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data in connection with our website and services (the "Service"). RidgeOS acts as the data controller for personal data of account holders and website visitors, and as a data processor for the Customer Content that our customers put into the Service.

1. Personal data we collect

  • Account data: name, email, company name, phone number, login credentials.
  • Billing data: billing name and address. Card details are collected and stored by Paddle, our payment provider — we never see your card number.
  • Customer Content: leads, contacts, messages, calls, notes, and other data you submit to the Service.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, features used, clicks, device and browser information, IP address, approximate location, timestamps.
  • Support data: messages and attachments you send to our team.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see "Cookies" below.

2. How we use personal data

  • To create and manage your account and provide the Service.
  • To process payments, send invoices, and manage subscriptions (via Paddle).
  • To respond to support requests and communicate with you about the Service.
  • To secure the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms.
  • To improve and develop the Service, including product analytics.
  • To send service-related and, with your consent where required, marketing communications. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. Legal bases (EEA / UK users)

  • Contract: to provide the Service you have subscribed to.
  • Legitimate interests: to secure and improve the Service, prevent fraud, and conduct direct marketing to existing customers.
  • Consent: for optional marketing emails and non-essential cookies, where required.
  • Legal obligation: to comply with tax, accounting, and other applicable law.

4. Who we share personal data with

  • Service providers / subprocessors: cloud hosting, database, email delivery, analytics, customer support tooling.
  • Paddle — our Merchant of Record — for payment processing, subscription management, tax compliance, invoicing, and fraud prevention.
  • Professional advisers: legal, accounting, and audit professionals under confidentiality.
  • Authorities: where required by law, valid legal process, or to protect rights and safety.
  • Successors: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Notice.

We do not sell personal data.

5. International transfers

We may transfer personal data to countries outside your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU/UK Standard Contractual Clauses or applicable adequacy decisions.

6. Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. Customer Content is deleted following account termination, subject to a reasonable export window (typically 30 days).

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, logging, and least-privilege practices. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data; to object to processing; and to withdraw consent. EEA/UK users may lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@ridgeos.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law (generally within 30 days).

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

10. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service (essential), to remember preferences, and to understand how the Service is used (analytics). You can manage cookies in your browser settings. Where required by law, we present a cookie banner so you can accept or reject non-essential cookies.

11. Changes to this Notice

We may update this Notice from time to time. We will post the updated version here and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-product.
